Health Literacy Program

The Albuquerque Health Literacy Program (AHLP) offers culturally and linguistically appropriate health-related services to increase vaccinations and health literacy of populations who are disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 virus via local best practices learned from community feedback.  

Utilizing a health promotion model centered on Community Health Workers from historically marginalized and underserved communities, HLP (Health Literacy Program) concentrates on delivering COVID-19 education, disseminating vaccine information, and enhancing health literacy within these specific populations.
